- Arbitrage
- Betting on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit no matter the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that splits the match into two half‑handicaps, removing the draw as a possible result.
- Asian Line
- A type of handicap that includes whole, half, and quarter goal lines, used to balance uneven matchups.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bookmaker
- The company that sets the odds and accepts bets.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A wager on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle your bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (e.g., home win or draw).
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you win if your chosen team wins, and you get your stake back if the game ends in a draw.
- Edge
- The advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- Goal Line
- The total number of goals set for a match in over/under betting.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A single bet that predicts both the result at half‑time and the result at full‑time.
- In-Play
- The same as live betting; odds that change during the game.
- Juice
- The commission a bookmaker charges for taking a bet, built into the odds.
- Line
- The set of odds or point spread offered for a particular betting market.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on events while the match is still in progress.
- Market
- A category of bets available for a particular event, such as match winner, total goals, or player props.
- Odds
- The number that tells you how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or another stat) will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more individual wagers; all must win for the parlay to pay out.
- Spread
- The difference between the odds offered and the true odds, often referring to point‑spread bets.
- Stake
- The amount of money you put on a bet.
- System Bet
