Webb, and two children, in 1856, and in 1863 arrived in Central City, Colorado, where they lived until 1882 when the family came to this valley, settling on the farm on which she died. Shortly after locating in this valley her first husband died and his body was taken to Central City for interment. Last February she was joined in marriage with Rev. A. S. Kemper who, with four children, George Webb of Delta, Colorado, William and James Webb of Hygiene, Colorado, and Mrs. Elizabeth Johns of this valley, survive her.

Mrs. Kemper was a kind-hearted, faithful and loving wife and mother and a devoted friend and her death is sincerely mourned by a wide circle of acquaintances.
